Paranormal Romance is one of my most favorite genres and in this post I’ll name a few of my favorite series and authors but I thought for the most part that I would tell you about a few new (to me) authors and series that I have discovered within the past year and include a few links to their books as well in case you’re interested.
First off, some of my favorites which you probably may have heard of include:
Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling and Guild Hunter series, any and everything written by Christine Feehan, Lora Leigh’s Breeds series, Jennifer Ashley’s Shifters Unbound series, Laurell K Hamilton’s Anita Blake Vampire Hunter and Merry Gentry series, Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark-Hunter world series, Bianca D’Arc and her immersive interconnected series beginning with Tales of the Were, Laurann Dohner’s New Species and VLG (Vampires Lycans Gargoyles) series and Nancy Corrigan author of the Royal-Kagan Shifter series.
Those are just some of my favorites but definitely not all of them.
Now I’m going to share with you some authors whose books I just discovered this year and include a brief description of the book along with links to buy/pre-order the books in case you haven’t heard of them before and are interested.
Hettie Ivers, author of Slip of Fate, Fear the Heart and Revenge of the Wronged.
The first book in this completely bingeworthy, page-turning series is a enemies to lovers story featuring werelocks (werewolves crossed with werelocks) and I absolutely loved reading this series. It definitely kept me up when I should have been sleeping and the interaction between the characters was by turn funny followed by nerve-racking tension.
Slip of Fate is currently free on Kindle so go ahead and download it if you haven’t already.

Sasha Summers author of Falling for the Billionaire Werewolf and His Baby, the first book in the Blood Moon Brotherhood series.
Around May of this year I was going through a tiny bit of a reading slump where I couldn’t decide what exactly I wanted to read and it was then, while flicking through the Amazon site that I discovered this book. I freely admit that it was the title and cover that grabbed my attention first but I read the description and figured what the heck it’s worth a try and I didn’t regret it.
In the book, Jessa, a young assistant struggling to make ends meet for her family is offered a promotion by her boss Finnegan, the promotion being to primarily look after his newborn son and that’s where the story truly starts. I won’t say much more because I don’t like re-telling blurbs or spoiling books but I will tell you that this wasn’t quite like any other werewolf book that I had read before and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Here is the link to buy it and if you do enjoy the book you won’t have to wait long for the second in the series as Rescued by the Wolf is due to be published on the 28 August 2017.
Presently, I’m discovering many paranormal authors that I hadn’t heard of before in the quick reads and novella length books titled under (a) Howls Romance books on Kindle. You may see some familiar authors as well as some unfamiliar. Books cost between $1.30 and $4.00 and I think are well worth it. I always enjoy discovering new to me authors.
That’s all for this post and until I post again.
Happy Reading,
-Rhianna
